To convert the Hinge into an OWB rig, simply remove the IWB clips and mount the OWB clips onto the holster. It’s just that simple to convert your rig. You can also remove the belt clip tabs completely and add a Gear Clip if you prefer a single belt clip to mount your holster to your belt. The Gear Holster works great in an appendix carry position as well.

The Gear holster can easily be adjusted to work in the appendix position or a behind the hip position. You can move the Gear Clip to the zero degree position for appendix carry, the canted position for behind the hip carry, or even to a negative cant for a cross-draw.

The Hinge Holsters are adjustable for cant and ride height as well but the Gear Holster is easier to mount because it uses a single belt clip. All of our Kydex holsters are also adjustable for retention.
