Kydex Holster
Maintaining your Clinger Kydex shell is simple and straightforward. Follow these steps to keep your holster in excellent condition:
1. Prepare your cleaning solution
Use mild soap or detergent mixed with water to create a gentle cleaning solution.
2. Clean the holster
Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the cleaning solution and gently wipe down the Kydex shell.
3. Rinse
Rinse the shell thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue.
4. Dry
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away excess moisture. Allow the holster to air dry completely.
These steps can be used for your screws and clips as well. You will need to dry all metal well to prevent rust. Note: For optimal performance and security, we recommend applying Loctite to your screws once they are adjusted to your preferred settings. This will help prevent the screws from loosening over time, ensuring that your holster remains securely in place during use.
Comfort Cling & Mag Pouch
Follow the same cleaning/maintenance steps as above.
Note: If your Comfort Cling or Mag Pouch has lost its "sticky" grip, you can easily restore it by applying a small amount of rubbing alcohol to the outer surface. This simple step will help rejuvenate the adhesive properties, ensuring your gear remains securely in place.
Clinger Cushion
The Clinger Cushion is machine washable, allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance. Simply follow your washing machine's standard settings for fabric care to keep the cushion in optimal condition.
