Among M&P’s compact series is their 40C. These compact versions offer all the features of their full-size pistols, but still pack all the punch. Features

M&P’s 40 Compact comes with three interchangeable grips to make a special, customized shooting experience. It has a picatinny-style rail to add whatever desired accessories a shooter may have. The 40C has stainless steel drift adjustable, three-dot sights, and scalloped slide serrations. Other versions have Tritium Night sights.

It has an ambidextrous slide stop and some versions of the 40C either have no mag safety, no thumb safety, or a combination of having those safeties or not. The barrel, slide, and chassis of the 40C is stainless steel and finished with Armonite. It also comes with a fully, high-strength polymer frame. It has a capacity for 10 .40 caliber rounds and comes with three magazines.

The 40C has a 10 lbs trigger pull, and is specifically designed with concealed carry in mind—it is overall, a 6.7 inch size pistol, which is just slightly larger than a smart phone, so it will fit great in an M&P 40C holster.
