The M&P 40 4.25 inch is built on a high-strength polymer frame reinforced with a rigid stainless steel chassis. The barrel and slide are stainless steel as well. This striker-fire pistol has a picatinny-style rail for mounting your favorite tactical lights, lasers and other accessories. It also comes with three interchangeable grip palm swells, to provide the most customized shooting experience.

It comes with stainless steel, Steel Ramp Dovetail front sight and Novak Lo-Mount Carry sights which can be adjusted for drift and an ambidextrous slide stop. Included in the box are two 15-round capacity magazine and three interchangeable grip sizes. As far as safety is concerned, the M&P 40 4.25 doesn’t come with a thumb safety.

It has an Armornite finish to prevent corrosion and gives the M&P 40 a tactical look. The M&P 40 overall is 7.6 inches in length and weighing in at 27.9 ounces, which makes it perfect for home protection, concealed carry, or even as a secondary service pistol.
