Features & Concealment
The light, 22 ounce, polymer frame and steel slide of the PT140 Millennium G2 is designed for added concealability with a thin 1.2 inch width that will easily disappear on your frame in an IWB Taurus PT140 G2 Kydex holster. The profile and edges of the PT140 also provide premium concealability and no harsh printing.
This pistol also comes with the Taurus Security System (TSS) which is a built-in ability to secure the pistol, making it inoperable “at the turn of a key.” While the pistol has the TSS engaged, it cannot be fired or cocked, and the safety cannot be disengaged. Further details on the TSS can be found on Taurus’ website.
On all their new compact models, including the PT140 as well as the medium and large pistols, Taurus has included a loaded chamber indicator which is both visual and tactile. This provides added safety and security at-a-glance without hindering or interfering with pistol operation. The indicator is a red strip exposed behind the ejection port when a round is chambered.
The front sight of the PT140 is fixed, but the rear sights are adjustable two-dots. It is finished in black polymer with an aggressive, emery-board in appearance, texture that won’t catch on clothing, but provides added control and stability to the grip.
Finally, the PT140 Millennium comes with an accessory rail allowing for mounted lasers, flashlights, or whatever other accessories a shooter might want to add to it. The pistol also comes with two, double stack 10-round magazines that have an extension for the grip.
